Where to go for help depends on how you use Lightdash. Open-source and community users — ask in #help in the Lightdash Community Slack. The team and the wider community answer questions there. Customers — reach the team through your dedicated support Slack channel, or, on Lightdash Cloud, click Help (the question mark icon in the top navigation) and select Talk to support to send a message from inside the app. For browser-side problems, capture a HAR file and share it with the team so they can debug the request with you. To let the team reproduce a user-specific issue directly, see support access.

Report a bug or request a feature

Customers — report bugs and request features in your shared Slack or Microsoft Teams channel, if you have one, or through Talk to support in the app. Opening an issue on GitHub is also available, but it’s mainly for open-source users. Product feedback is welcome there too.

Report a security vulnerability

Report suspected vulnerabilities privately to security@lightdash.com, not in a public GitHub issue. Include the affected component and version, the impact, reproduction steps, and any known mitigations. Lightdash acknowledges the report, investigates it, and coordinates disclosure with you. Published vulnerabilities are listed in GitHub Security Advisories.
